Fiani, Krause Sworn in as Brighton School Board Members
Newcomer Nick Fiani was elected as School Board Secretary Monday night.
Newly elected Brighton Area School Board member Nick Fiani and Jay Krause, who was reelected for a second term, were sworn in as board members by Superintendent Greg Gray at a special meeting Monday night.
The board also elected its officials, voting Miles Vieau as board president, Bill Anderson as vice president, Krause as treasurer and Fiani as secretary.
Fiani replaced Beth Minert, who previously held the position since July 2007.

The board also took care of several business items, approving meeting dates for 2013, designating signaratories and approving retaining the service's of the board's legal council, Thrun Law Firm.
