Brighton Boys Finish 6th at Spartan Invitational; Girls Come in at No. 7
Brighton cross country teams were among several across the state to participate in the East Lansing invitational.
East Lansing — The boys cross country team finished 6th out of 36 teams in the Nike Elite Division at the Michigan State University Spartan Invitational on Friday.
Seniors Nick Costello and Tim Jurick were medal winners.
The girls cross country team finished 7th out of 34 teams in the Nike Elite Division, led by Hayley Williamson, who finished 22nd and received a medal.

"This race had some incredible competition and the girls ran amazing, each running season bests," Kristi Matuszewski, girls cross country coach said.
