Brighton Bulldogs Football and Cheer Registration Now Open

BBFC will host a Meet and Greet on Wednesday in the Hawkins Elementary School cafeteria.

Registration for Brighton Bulldogs Football and Cheer (BBFC) is now open for new and returning players. 

BBFC will host a Meet and Greet on Wednesday in the Hawkins Elementary School cafeteria from 7-8:30 p.m. in order to give parents and kids a chance to meet coaches and have questions answered. Each family attending the event will receive the new BBFC Logo vehicle sticker, which will be installed for free. 

BBFC has four team levels based on grade level and weight limits.

  • 1st and 2nd grade: Instructional, weight limit is 110lbs.
  • 3rd and 4th grade: Freshman, weight limit is 125lbs.
  • 5th and 6th grade: JV, overall weight limit is 150lbs, but you must be under 140lbs to run the ball or play off the line on defense.
  • 7th and 8th grade: Varsity, overall weight limit is 220lbs, but  you must be under 160lbs to run the ball or play off the line on defense

According to the BBFC website, the price to play football at the freshman, JV and Varsity levels costs $265 per player. Instructional players cost $185. The cost per cheerleader is $225. 

If families have three or more kids the program (football and cheerleading) , then the third child is eligible for a 50 percent discount in fees.
