Varsity Ski

The Brighton Girls Varsity Ski Team took first place with 43 points in a make-up meet Monday night for the two rain-outs last week.

Scoring for the Bulldogs were Freshman Lilia Staszel, who came in 5th place; Freshman Jenna Sica, who came in 6th place; Freshman Veronica Ripper, who came in 7th palce and Junior Madison Kraning, who came in 25th place.

The Boys Varsity Ski Team came in second place with 53 points.

Leading the Bulldogs were Senior Matt Shelton, who came in third place; Junior Jordan Black, who came in 10th place; Senior Colin Farquhar, who came in 18th place and Senior Chris Letteer, who came in 19th place.

Girls BasketballΒ

Brighton Girls Basketball Teams triumphed over Howell on Feb. 1.

Varsity Bulldogs defeated the Highlanders 66-25, Junior Varsity 46-30 and Fresman 44-24.

Varsity Bowling

The Girls Varsity Bowling Team defeated Milford 23-7 Thursday at Striking Lanes in Hartland.

The Bulldogs were led by Seniors Nicole Brokas with a high game of 183 and Sam Miller with a high game of 174.

The girls are 9-2 overall and 7-1 in KLAA Conference play.

The Boys Varsity Bowling Team shut out Milford 30-0.

The team was led by Junior Dave Neisz with a high game of 214 and Senior CJ Burroughs with a high game of 189.

The boys are 9-2 overall and 6-2 in KLAA Conference play.

Boys Swim

The Brighton Men's Swim and Dive Team lost to Grand Blanc 106-79 in division action on Jan. 31.

Swimmer of the meet was Junior Nick Gawryk.
