Brighton's varsity hockey team won the regional title Saturday.
The team beat DeWitt 9-1.
The Bulldogs now move on to play Bay City Central in the Division 1 Quarterfinals Wednesday, according to the MHSAA website.
If they win, the Bulldogs will face the winner of Wednesday's Utica Eisenhower vs. Detroit U-D Jesuit game in the semifinals on Friday.
The championship game is scheduled for Saturday. Other teams in the running are Plymouth, Detroit Catholic Central, East Kentwood and Muskegon Reeths-Puffer.
