The Brighton Girls basketball team saw their nine game winning streak come to an end as they lost to Plymouth Salem 32-41 on Jan. 20.Β

Offensively, the Bulldogs struggled from the field for most of the game. Brighton played pretty well defensively but gave up too many second chance opportunities as Salem dominated the boards for most of the game. Conversely, Brighton was limited to one shot for most of their offensive possessions.

Brighton's record is 9-2 (5-0 in KLAA league play).

Junior Varsity defeated Plymouth Salem 39-30. The freshmen team did not play.

The Bulldogs get back into league action tonight when they host the Pinckney Pirates at 7 p.m.
