The Brighton Varsity Girls basketball team beat Saginaw Heritage 49-35 to win their fourth game in a row, improving their record to 4 and 1 on Wednesday night.

The first half was a defensive battle as both teams traded the lead. Heritage lead 18-16 at halftime, as both team struggled to score. Heritage's zone defense and length caused problems for Brighton scoring on the inside, but after some adjustments, the Bulldogs were able to get their running game going in the second half.
