An Early Rolling Good Time on New Year's Eve
An open skate designed for kids who miss out on late-night festivities is scheduled from 1-7 p.m. New Year's Eve, Saturday, Dec. 31, at Rollerama II, 6995 W. Grand River in Brighton.
Kids get New Year's party favors and the chance to participate in a 3 p.m. prize-filled balloon drop.
Cost is $7 excluding skate rental. Cost for skate rental is $2 for regular skates and $4 for in-line skates. (Or you may use your own skates as long as they won't scratch the floor; check at the desk.)
