Stroll Around Town

Families and walkers of all ages are invited to take part in the first annual Stroll Around Town event at the Brighton District Library.

This family-friendly event is a "fun-raising" walk about kids for kids, to benefit the library’s early childhood programs. Bring your decorated stroller or wagon and invite friends, neighbors and co-workers to walk or sponsor you!

Check-in is at 9 a.m., the walk starts at 9:45 a.m. Between 9 and 9:45 a.m., kids will enjoy a variety of activities from upbeat musical fun to sidewalk chalk art; also, don’t miss the free stickers, balloons and coupons.

The two-mile course begins at the Brighton District Library and will follow the sidewalk along Grand River to the Millpond’s boardwalk and will finish at the Library. Sorry, but no bikes or pets are allowed.

Individual donations are $10 per person and $20 per family.
