Photo Gallery: Brighton Seniors Enjoy Lunch on Bulldogs Basketball

Brighton High School Basketball players and coaches participated in the 2nd Annual Senior Day by preparing a buffet-style lunch for senior citizens at the Brighton Senor Center on Feb. 5.

Marcy Hosking, supervisor of the Brighton Senior Center, said Varsity Head Coach Tony Sweet contacted her last year about holding the event.

"I thought it was a great idea and opportunity for the seniors to interact with some fine young athletes," Hosking said.

According to Hosking, about 25 seniors attended the lunch and interacted with the team and coaches.

"They really enjoyed it," she said. "The boys helped serve the seniors then sat with them and had lunch. We hope they come back next year."
