Tennis Team Improves to 3-0 in Division

Bulldogs roll past rival Hartland.

Brighton is going to be counting on its senior leadership this season and it came through on Wednesday in a 7-2 win over Hartland.

The Eagles won at No. 1 and 2 singles, but the Bulldogs (3-1, 3-0 KLAA West) swept the rest of the flights.

Senior Mary Wojtala is joined by freshman Lexie Willey in the No. 2 doubles flight. The pair won 6-4, 7-6 (5).

“The younger girls know what they’re doing, but it’s up to us to be in that leadership role,” Wojtala said. 

The Bulldogs are hosting a quad tournament on Saturday at 8:30 a.m.
