Upcoming Events at Mt. Brighton
Scion Snow Tour, bikini races and snowmobiles are coming to the ski facility's slopes.
While many people were thinking the ski/snowboard season was over, this couldn’t be further from the truth. Winter has cometh, once again. After a brief bout of spring weather, the snow has returned in force. Recent storms have dropped 8 inches of fresh snow on Mt. Brighton.
There are still many upcoming events to look forward to this season on the slopes, starting Friday. Here's a look at the calendar:

When: Friday, 6:30 p.m.
Why go: Presented by Signal Snowboards, pros Matt Guess, Austen Granger, Spencer Link, Kyle Grant, Kyle Earl and other special guests stop at Mt. Brighton as part of their winter tour of resorts and hot spots throughout the U.S. Riders can compete for prizes.

When: Saturday starting at 9:30 a.m.
Why go: Mt. Brighton hosts its annual “Fun Day” on the hill with the slush cup, big air, kids races, king of the hill, beer tent and more. Registration is at the ski school desk starting at 9 a.m.
When: March 5, starting at noon.
Why go: The beer tent opens at noon at the bottom of the hill and the bikini race starts at 3:30 p.m. Prizes and giveaways. Must be 18 years old to enter. Preregister at 810-229-9581, ext. 220.
When: March 11-13. Gates open at 8 a.m., shows start at noon.
Why go: This fifth annual event includes testing runs March 11 for all competitors. Gates will open at 8 a.m., with racing scheduled to begin at noon on Saturday and Sunday. There will be two 660-foot-long race tracks for side-by-side racing, one with three jumps and one without. Sponsored by Central Ontario Snowmobile Drag Racing Association.
