Register Now for Brighton's Hungry Duck Run

The 7th Annual Hungry Duck Run will take place on July 4 in downtown Brighton. The course is mostly paved, according to the race's website, with a "few modest hills to add a little challenge."

The mission of the Hungry Duck Run is to raise awareness and funding to fight hunger in Livingston County, according to the race website and is organized by the Livingston Sunrise Rotary Club.

Race distances and fees include:

  • 5K Run/Walk: Early registration $25 (before June 28), $30 after June 28.
  • Half Marathon: Early registration fee $40 (before June 28), $50 after June 28.
  • Duckling Dash: Free for children 10 and under.
Race fees will also be donated to Community Food Bank Partners.

Start times:
  • Half marathon: 7 a.m.
  • 5K Run/Walk: 7:15 a.m.
  • Duckling Dash: 9:30 a.m.

Parking: Parade organizers recommend runners park at the Brighton High School to avoid parade route and traffic. Free shuttle service provided by race staff.

Brighton's Independence Parade starts at 10 a.m. in downtown Brighton.
