Young Dudley Has a lot of Love to Give

A Beagle/Lab mix is available for adoption at the Humane Society of Livingston County.

Hi, my name is Dudley and I'm a young neutered Beagle/Labrador mix who was born around May 2011.

I was given up because I was being a typical puppy who wasn't getting enough exercise. I would chew on things, sometimes have accidents and played too rough with the kids. My owner forgot, I guess, that I'm really just a puppy and I need routine training and lots of daily exercise every day.

I wasn't trying to be a bad boy, really I was just bored and being a puppy. I do well with kids when I'm not too rough. I haven't been around other animals but the staff says they expect I'd chase cats a lot just for fun. I'd like a dog friend to romp around with in my new home and I hope we have a fenced yard too so we can run.

I'm not yet completely house trained but can and will learn with consistency. I'm one dog that would really benefit from a training and socialization.
