Beginner Stand Up Paddle Board and More for the Week Ahead

Help Save Lives Monday, 1 p.m. -6:45 p.m. at Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Brighton.

3. In case you missed it
The theme of the 2013 Brighton Independence Day parade is“Home of the Free, Land of the Brave,” and all organizations and businesses are invited to participate.

4. Local voice of the week
Calling all golfers! Play in LACASA's Drive Out Child Abuse Golf Scramble set for Friday, June 14, at Whispering Pines Golf Club in Pinckney. Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m.; shotgun start is at 1 p.m.
