Holiday Craft Show and More This Weekend

Patch is here to make your life ridiculously easy, so as you sit down today and plan your weekend, here are some events you should know about in the Brighton area.

1. Holiday Craft Show

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. 
  • Where: Chilson Hills Church
  • What:  Admission is free. There will be a variety of vendors, raffles, prizes and refreshments.
2. The Community Theatre of Howell presents "Young Frankenstein"
  • When: November 1, 2, 8 and 9 at 7:30 p.m. and November 3 and 10 at 2 p.m.
  • Where: Howell High School Freshman Campus 
  • What: Tickets are on sale and are available at the Bennett Recreation Center and Howelling Coffee in Howell, Kahuna Coffee in Hartland and Maria's School of Dance in Fowlerville, or online at http://www.cththeatre.org/boxoffice.html. Young Frankenstein is sponsored by Archer Huntley Financial, High Flyers, Charyl Stockwell Academy and Akin-Akin, Inc.
3. Try Hockey For Free
  • When: Saturday, Nov. 2
  • Where: Hartland Sports Center, 2755 Arena Drive, Hartland
  • What: KV & Hartland Ice House invites boys and girls ages four to nine years old to Hartland Sports Center on Saturday, November 2 12:00-1:35pm for a Try Hockey for Free clinic to experience ice hockey for the first time and learn the basics of the sport in a fun, safe environment.
4. Community Celebration to Benefit Abby 
  • When: Friday, Nov. 1
    Where: Tamarack Ranch in Brighton
  • What: A fundraising event for 6-year-old Abrielle Fountaine of Hartland who is battling cancer will be held on Nov. 1 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Tamarack Ranch in Brighton.
