Zeke the Wonder Dog at BHS And More This Weekend

Patch is here to make your life ridiculously easy, so as you sit down today and plan your weekend, here are some events you should know about in the Brighton area.

1. Zeke the Wonder Dog at BHS

  • When: Jan. 24 at half-time of the Varsity Girls Basketball game at 7 pm.
  • Where: Brighton High School
  • What: Brighton Athletics is proud to announce the ultimate pairing of canines and masterminds; as "Zeke the Wonder Dog" joins the "B.H.S. Robotics Team." Zeke the Wonder Dog regularly performs at MSU games, pro-sporting events, and other special events across the country. At Brighton Zeke will be attempting to catch Frisbees from a robot made by Brighton High School's Robotics team.
2. BULLIED: A Student, A School, and a Case that Made History
  • When: Jan. 25 at 7 p.m.
  • Where:  3333 S. Old US 23, Brighton, just north of Hilton Rd. 
  • What: Livingston County PFLAG, a support group for the LGBTQ Community and their families, and Community Unitarian Universalists in Brighton are 
    hosting a movie night.
3. Food Pantry-Clothing Pantry-Hot Breakfast at Bountiful Harvest
  • When: Jan. 25 at 8 a.m.
  • Where: St. George Lutheran Church
  • What: Bountiful Harvest offers a free hot breakfast, food pantry and clothing pantry every Saturday morning from 8am until noon. Located in the lower level of the St. George Lutheran Church corner of Fourth Street and Main Street in Brighton. This is an ongoing event.  Anyone in need of food, clothes and/or a hot breakfast is welcome.
