The Brighton District Library serves more than 39,000 patrons in Brighton, Genoa and Green Oak. The library offers state-of-the-art computer facilities, special equipment for the visually and hearing impaired, a reading room, public meeting rooms, a children's activity area and "cuddle corner" featuring easy-to-read books. Cardholders may borrow a variety of multimedia material, including audio books, music, videos, DVDs, magazines, newspapers and books. The library's patrons can order books on-site or online from 45 other libraries in Michigan. The library also serves as a gathering place with programs for seniors, adults, teens and children.
