The Southeastern Livingston County Recreation Authority's (SELCRA) Meijer Skate Park has been in operation in Brighton since 1999. It is the only supervised outdoor skateboarding and in-line skating outdoor park in Livingston County, and strives to provide a safe, comfortable environment for skaters of all ages and skill levels.
Parents are welcome to use the perimeter skate path and get some exercise while their children enjoy the park. Skaters using the skate park must read and sign the Meijer Skate Park Waiver and Release of Liability form, which can be downloaded from its Web site.
- Hours: Spring hours (April 4 - June 13): Mon - Fri, 5pm - 8pm, Sat, Sun, noon - 8pm. Summer hours (June 14 - August 31): Daily, noon - 8pm. Fall hours (September 1 - October 30): Mon - Fri, 5pm - 8pm, Sat, Sun, noon - 8pm. Closed October 30 - April 4.
