Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church & School has been expanding in Brighton since 1973. By 1978, the church had grown large enough that two services began to take place. In 1982, a pre-school program began and then in 1990, another huge expansion occurred, to include more offices, classrooms and a nursery. The elementary school began in 2001 and now includes preschool through 6th grade.
On ten acres on the corner of Hyne and Hacker, Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church and School has evolved into a fully functioning place of worship, learning and growth. A beautiful facility now sits on this corner.
