Police Seek Help Identifying Trio in Brighton Township Armed Bank Robbery
First National Bank was robbed at gunpoint mid-Friday morning.
Police are seeking the public's help in identifying two men and a woman suspected of robbing First National Bank in Brighton Township Friday morning. The men were seen fleeing the bank on Grand River Avenue in a dark red or maroon 1989 Buick LaSabre that was stolen Thursday from a City of Brighton home, police said. The two men entered the bank around 9:38 a.m. while the woman waited in the car, Livingston County Sheriff Bob Bezotte said. Bezotte also said that both men are believed to have been carrying semi-automatic handguns at the time of the robbery. The car was later found at Lexington Manor apartments, according to Bezotte. The robbery was first reported by a citizen after noticing a suspicious car parked in front of the bank. …
