Here Comes the Bridal Show

Here Comes the Brides Bridal Show will be held on Sunday from 1-5 p.m. at Brighton High School.

More than 100 brides are expected to converge on Brighton High School on Sunday as the Here Comes the Brides Bridal Show makes its seventh annual appearance. Cathy Dedakis, who co-owns the show with Maggie Pietila, said the show has grown every year since its inception in 2009. Last year, about 170 brides attended the show, the highest number to date. But Dedakis is hoping to top that number yet again this weekend. The show will include more than 50 vendors, a fashion show, games and about $25,000 in prizes. In addition, the first 100 brides will get a goody bag filled with freebies and surprises. Brides also have the chance to win a local romantic weekend getaway.
