Starting at 7 p.m., join the conversation before, during and after the GOP candidates for president square off on the OU campus.

All eyes will be on Michigan – and Oakland University in Rochester in particular – today as eight candidates for the Republican party nomination for president of the United States talk about jobs, the economy and other issues. Jim Bohn Chases City Council Seat

Current mayor pro tem seeks re-election in November.

Jim Bohn is one of five candidates competing for four open seats on the Brighton City Council. Wife, Patricia Bohn; Children, Jessica who resides in Ann Arbor; Stephen who resides in Nashville and Eric who is a U.S. Army sergeant tationed at Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina. Associates Degree from Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn; Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Business Administration Degrees from Baldwin- Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. I work at Johnson Controls Interior Manufacturing. Current mayor pro tem. I am a member of Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church and a Certified Quality Engineer, Quality Manager and Quality Auditor for the American Society for Quality. There are four open City Council seats on the ballot.

Claudia Roblee is one of five candidates competing for four open seats on the Brighton City Council. Follow Brighton Patch this week as we introduce all of candidates. Husband, Mark Gougherty; three daughters and five grandchildren. Some college at Macomb Community College, Lansing Community College and Michigan State University.
