What time is Santa slated to fly over Brighton? Visit the North American Aerospace Defense Command's website to find out. NORAD is charged with keeping the United States and Canada safe from dangers originating from the sky or space. Tonight, however, the Colorado-based government agency adds one more important task to its daily list of duties. NORAD will again provide its Official Santa Tracker that marks The Big Man's every move as he makes his way throughout both hemispheres. Included on the site is a countdown and activity page and a flight tracking system. Kids and adults can enjoy this very entertaining site that will have sugar plums dancing through everyone's head before retiring.

First Winter Wonderland event draws families despite cold temperatures.
More than 50 children and their parents braved the cold to make crafts, enjoy holiday treats and – of course – whisper their Christmas wishes in Santa's ear at the Winter Wonderland event Friday in Meijer Park. "They are excited," Dave Daavettila of Brighton said as he pointed out Santa to his three children Calli, 9, Mandy, 7 and Alyse, 4. "I want Sleeping Beauty!" Alyse told Santa as kids began lining up to ask him for presents. The cost for admission was $5 per child and free for adults.
