Novi police have confirmed that the body is of Patrick Keough, who went missing in Novi in June.
The Novi Police Department has identified remains found in Farmington Hills as that of a man missing from his Novi business office in June, according to a press release. On June 14, Patrick Keough, a 38-year-old, Howell resident walked away from his office on Cabot Drive in Novi, leaving behind written communication indicating he may harm himself. The disappearance prompted an extensive, several month search that included area canvasses by police officers, helicopters, the Novi Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and several K-9 teams from the Novi Police Department and Michigan Search and Rescue. It has been 24 hours since Aimee Lawrence last saw or had any contact with her 17-year-old daughter, Brittany Dickson. The family has tried to file a missing person report with the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department, but was told they must wait until Friday before they can do so because of Brittany's age and if there is a question of her safety. According to Deputy Sokol of the Livingston County Sheriff's Department, because Brittany is 17, she is considered to be a legal adult. "If she's 17, you can't file her as missing unless you have some reason to believe that she's in danger," Sokol said. Westland woman was last seen in Canton on Dec. 1. Mom: "We are wracking our brains trying to think of everything she said."
Ashley Buda missed Christmas with her family and they are frantic to find her. Buda, 22, was last seen on Dec. 1, when her grandmother drove her to Canton, where the 22-year-old Westland woman stopped at the Panera Bread Co. before going to her job next door, waiting tables at Buffalo Wild Wings. Buda missed the holiday and family plans to send out cards together, said her mother, Michelle Bostain-Buda of Westland. Tuesday, Bostain-Buda filed a missing person's report with the Westland Police Department.
