Missing Brighton Teen Safe Back at Home

17-year-old Krystin Walker returned home over the weekend.

A Brighton Township mother is thanking family and friends who helped get the word out on Facebook when her 17-year-old daughter went missing on Thursday. Shelley Petersen Walker said her daughter, Krystin Walker returned home safely over the weekend. Krystin, a Brighton High School junior, went missing Thursday morning after leaving for school. She never arrived. Walker filed a report with Livingston County Sheriff's deputies and began pleading on Facebook for any information on her daughter's location. Walker said her daughter returned because so many people were looking for her and wanted her to come home.

Mother Turns to Facebook to Seek Information on Missing Brighton Teen

17-year-old Krystin Walker was last seen Thursday morning.

Shelley Petersen Walker is turning to Facebook to help find information on her 17-year-old daughter, Krystin Walker. Krystin is a Brighton High School junior who was last seen Thursday morning leaving for school in her white Ford Ranger pickup truck from her Brighton Township home. Walker said her daughter never arrived. So she has turned to friends and family on Facebook to spread the word of her daughter's disappearance in hopes that someone will come forward with information. Krystin was last seen with pink hair; however, Walker said she believes it is now burgandy, as she just found out Krystin bought the red-brown hair dye sometime on Thursday.
