The Detroit Tigers are headed to the World Series for the first time since 2006, seeking their first championship since 1984. The Tigers swept the New York Yankees on Thursday in a 8-1 Game 4 win in the teams' best-of-seven American League Championship Series to advance to the World Series. Game 4 originally was scheduled for Wednesday night, but threats of inclement weather postponed the start time until 4:07 p.m. Thursday.
