Brighton Athletes Commit to Grand Valley, Saginaw Valley State Universities
Seniors Ryan McClelland and Nicholas Mitter signed letters of intent to play baseball and golf in college.
While most Brighton High School seniors are still struggling with one of the most important decisions they will make in their lives - where to attend college - two Bulldog varsity athletes formally signed letters of intent Wednesday night, committing them to playing baseball and golf at Grand Valley State University and Saginaw Valley State University. Ryan McClelland does everything left-handed, except pitch, and the Bulldogs varsity pitcher will attend Grand Valley State University next year as one of the newest members of the baseball team. McClelland said he went over his choices with his parents, and just liked Grand Valley over other schools because of the coaches and the campus. He said that he is excited to continue playing his …
