Lately, Pinterest seems to be taking the world by storm - and Brighton is no exception. Pinterest is a new social media tool that connects people through their interests. A user must be invited onto the site by an account holder. Then, he or she can create interest boards and pin things from around the internet to each interest or category. Brighton Patch reader Nikki Walsh posted a craft idea just before Easter, of a way to dye eggs using old ties and vinegar. She got the idea from Pinterest. "I like that there's variety and that I can find ideas that are simple, that I'd never be able to think of," she said about the website. I love everything about Pinterest because I am a super visual person! I love being able to create my own pin boards to keep all of my ideas (wedding, recipes, crafting) in one place while browsing what my friends have pinned too.
