Arbor Hospice Seeks Volunteers in Livingston County

Arbor Hospice has an immediate need for volunteers interested in providing companionship and a brief reprieve for caregivers in Livingston County. Volunteering at Arbor Hospice is a deeply rewarding and unique opportunity. Arbor Hospice volunteers are an exceptional group of caring and compassionate people who offer patients and their caregivers support as they face life-limiting illnesses.

“Volunteers play an essential role in Arbor Hospice delivering quality care to our patients and caregivers,” said Gloria D. Brooks, President and CEO of Arbor Hospice. “The experience that comes along with volunteering at Arbor Hospice is memorable and fulfilling.”

“We are receiving several requests from patients and families in Livingston County for volunteers,” said Sherry Wagenknecht, Arbor Hospice Volunteer Coordinator. “Unfortunately, we are receiving more requests than we have volunteers, and we welcome anyone interested in becoming a volunteer or learning more. Volunteering with Arbor Hospice is a very rewarding opportunity. Our volunteers tell us how much of a privilege it is to offer their support to families at such an emotional time and how blessed they are to make so many special friends.”
