Body Found By Hikers At Brighton Recreation Area

The body has been transported to Sparrow Hospital for an autopsy.

Michigan State Police confirm that the body of a white man of an unknown age was found on Thursday morning by hikers along one of the trails located in the Brighton State Recreation Area.

According to Livingston Daily, Darryl Rains, of South Lyon, and three friends were walking their dogs around 11:40 a.m. when they found the body.

The body was transported to Sparrow Hospital for an autopsy. No other details were released.
