Seniors'/Grandparents' Day at the Fair

On Tuesday, July 26, enjoy Senior Citizens’/Grandparents’ Day at the Fowlerville Fair. Free admission to anyone 62 or older accompanied by a paying grandchild between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., sponsored by Michigan Rehabilitation Specialists of Fowlerville and Fowlerville Pharmacy.

The 4-H King and Queen contest takes place at 7 p.m. today in the livestock arena.

Livingston County Farm Bureau's Beginning of Life exhibit is open all day, as is the 4-H Hands-on Learning Experience starting at 10 a.m. in the little red barn.

Bright and early, at 8 a.m., see the 4-H Swine Show in the sheep & swine show ring as well as the 4-H English Horse Show in the horse show arena. At 9 a.m., head to the 4-H Rabbit Show in the small animal barn. Commercial and food vendors open at 10 a.m.

Senior Citizen Day Activities begin in Finlan Gazebo at 11 a.m. and continue through 2 p.m.; they’re sponsored by Fowlerville Pharmacy & Michigan Rehabilitation Specialists of Fowlerville. The Senior of the Day will be announced as well; refreshments and prizes are available.

Chase’s Racing Pigs perform at noon, 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. First Bite Fishing sponsored by Edward Jones, and open the rest of the day, starts at noon as does Fowlerville Band Boosters Bingo in the bingo gazebo. 

The midway opens at 1 p.m.; the Open Class Swine Show takes place at the same time in the Sheep & Swine Show Ring.

My Adventure Theater, sponsored by Jimmy John's of Howell, features performances at 1, 3 and 6 p.m. 

The 4-H Non-Animal Achievement Program takes place at 6 p.m. in the livestock arena.

See musical act Dewayne Spaw free at 6 p.m. with your $10 admission to the 8 p.m. USA Demolition Derby & Figure 8 show; both events are in the grandstand

Generally, grandstand events are $10; general entry is $5/adult; $4/senior, $2/child (6-12 ); free under age 5.
