Art is What You Need

It's been a long, hard winter, and what do we want most now? If you can't get away, remember that according to Twyla Tharp, "Art is the best way to run away from home without leaving home." So take advantage of art by members of the Brighton Art Guild now showing at Cross Pointe Health Center. Two were voted favorites, shown above. "Mother Nature's Masterpieces" will be on exhibit until March 6.  In addition to art by members, many permanent pieces are on display. Showing through March 6 are Angela Hamilton, Sarah Grusin, Larry Wilkinson, Linda Binek, Lisa Jarrell, Faith Capling, Kim Isaac, Yoshiko Mishina, Leah Kucharek, Peggy Brewer, Sandy Hanert, Deborah Scharp, Heather Imlay-Pospiech,Al and Sandy Keider. This display is part of the “Art in Public Places” program of the Guild.  Go to www.Brightonartguild.com and see what's showing where.
