Key to awesomeness: Paulina's persistence paid off; this is her third year in the Optimist Club event. One of her 9th grade teachers introduced her to the competition. "I enjoy the opportunity to reach out to an audience and share my thoughts, and also to hear so many great ideas from people my age," she said. Paulina dances with the Ann Arbor Ballet Theatre and is a member of Interact, the youth Rotary Club at Brighton High School. Her parents are Christine and Bruce Devlin, and her sisters Elizabeth and Theresa also attend Brighton schools.
