Duckling Dash in Downtown Brighton

Kids get to do their own race down Main Street in Brighton on the Fourth of July.

After the adults completed their half marathon and 5K throughout Brighton earlier on July 4, the kids were able to lace up their own shoes and compete in the Duckling Dash, with each kid coming home a winner.

The run was free to any children ten and under, and the course consisted of a straightaway down Main Street in downtown Brighton. All the finishers received bags of assorted goodies and treats.

The Livingston Sunrise Rotary Club organized both the Duckling Dash and the Hungry Duck run, the half marathon and 5K race benefiting area food banks that took place early on July 4.
