1. The weather

Today will be partly sunny with a high near 32 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 25 degrees.

2. Gasoline prices

Here's a quick survey of the lowest per-gallon prices for regular gasoline in the Brighton area as of Thursday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com:

3. Blood Drive at First United Methodist Church

will host a Red Cross blood drive today from 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. 

4. Sloppy Joe Night

The Pinckney Memorial Post 419, located at 9807 Whitewood Rd in Pinckney, will host Sloppy Joe Night tonight from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sloppy Joe plates are $2, additional sandwiches are $1 each. Call 734-878-9522 for more information.
