1. The weather

Today will have a 30 percent chance of snow showers after noon with a high near 36 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Snow showers are likely tonight after midnight with a low around 27 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent with possible new snow accumulation less than one inch.

2. Gasoline prices

Here's a quick survey of the lowest per-gallon prices for regular gasoline in the Brighton area as of Wednesday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com:

3. Live Music at Kahuna Coffee

, 1836 N. Old U.S. 23 in Howell, will host live music tonight at 6 p.m. Listen to Mike Ewing as he brings songs to life with his musical talents and tells the story behind the song. He plays rock 'n roll, folk music and more!

4. Mental Illness Support Group

The National Alliance on Mental Illness in Livingston County will meet at tonight from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The group offers support for parents and primary caregivers who have a child that has been diagnosed with a mental illness or has social, emotional and behavioral challenges in school. Call 517-546-7449 for more information.

5. Trivia
