3. Extended Holiday Hours
Downtown Brighton is catering to last minute shoppers as they set extended holiday hours on December 21. More than 30 participating merchants will stay open until 10 p.m. that day as they remind shoppers to skip the mall and shop local!

4. Longest Night: Blue Christmas
St Paul's Episcopal Church will host a service for those dealing with grief, loss and depression this holiday season tonight at 6 p.m. Feel free to bring a photo or memento of someone you miss.
