1. The weather

Today will be mostly sunny, with a high near 76 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be mostly clear, with a low around 52 degrees.

2. Gasoline prices

Here's a quick survey of the lowest per-gallon prices for regular gasoline in the Brighton area as of Sunday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com:

3. Brighton K-12 Festival of the Arts

The Brighton K-12 Festival of the Arts is open today 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Old Gym at Brighotn High School. The art show will also feature work from Holy Spirit Catholic School students.

4. Brighton Mom Prom

The Brighton Mom Prom will be held at the at 7 p.m. It's a girl's night out with dancing to old and new hits and the prom you always dreamed of!  NO DATES!  The night includes appetizers, non-alchohol drinks, dancing, door prizes. Tickets cost $40 at the door. All proceeds go to benefit the American Diabetes Association.  More information available at www.BrightonMomProm.org
