1. The weather

Today will be mostly sunny with a high near 36 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 25 degrees.

2. Gasoline prices

Here's a quick survey of the lowest per-gallon prices for regular gasoline in the Brighton area as of Tuesday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com:

3. Helping the Community

is asking customers to donate unwrapped toys for the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program. Customers who bring in a toy will receive a free regular entree. Donate gently used kids coats and boots for the Salvation Army of Livingston County and receive $2 off any regular entree. Donate non-perishable food items for Gleaners Food Bank and receive free chips and salsa.

4. Brighton Art Guild Meeting

The Brighton Art Guild will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the . The art guild is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of art awarenessin the community through support of the visual arts. The guild invites artists, supporters of the arts and their families to join. Memberships are $30 per year for individuals; $40 for families; $15 for students.
