Great Escape: Leaf, Barley and Vine

This adults hangout in Brighton is worth a visit.

This past Friday, my sister and I visited for the first time. We were looking for somewhere to go that we could talk without shouting over a crowd, and where we could still enjoy the warm outside air.

We headed to the wine and cigar bar and found the perfect adult ambiance! A fire flickered in a nearby raised brick fire pit and music softly flowed through the air. The patio was encompassed by a raised divider separating the adult crowd from the street noise and nearby bars.

We drank wine, shared a decadent dessert, and as we were the last to occupy the establishment, I couldn't deny that this was one heck of a great escape!
