National Weather Service Issues Winter Storm Watch

As much as six inches of snow may land on southeast Michigan by Friday morning.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch Wednesday afternoon for all of southeast Michigan, including Livingston County.

Predictions are as much as half a foot of snow or more by Friday morning. 

According to the alert, a low pressure system is expected to move into the area Thursday evening, bringing with it a mix of rain and snow that will change over to all snow Thursday night.
