No Charges Filed Against Hartland Student, Hamburg Resident to Challenge Rogers for House Seat

There was plenty of news around Brighton this week.

1. Hartland Patch reported that there will be no charges filed against the 18-year-old Hartland High School student whose texts to some of his fellow students were perceived as threatening, caused a social media panic and the school to close. 

2. Michigan State University football players William Gholston and Lawrence Thomas were shaken, but OK after suffering minor injuries in a rollover accident on eastbound I-96 at Spencer Road, according to a statement from the MSU Athletics Department.
