Week in Review: MEAP Results, Street Repairs Ok'd and Dual Enrollment Education Program
A summary of news for the week ending Feb. 19, 2012.
Here is what you might have missed in Brighton news this week:
- On Tuesday, we reported that Brighton Area Schools Board of Education had its first reading to change the wording in its anti-bullying policy.
- On Wednesday, we announced that a Brighton High School senior signed his letter of intent to play soccer at Siena Heights University.
- Also on Wednesday, we reported that Brighton Area Schools exceeded state MEAP standards in every area but 8th grade math.
- On Friday, we reported that the City of Brighton approved repair on 14 different residential streets.
- Also on Friday, we reported that Livingston County schools, including Brighton Area Schools, are participating in the Dual Enrollment Education Program, a partnership with U of M Flint.
