On Tuesday, July 15th,
Attorney Nancy Nawrocki, one of less than 100 lawyers in the United States with
an Advanced Masters Degree in Elder Law will discuss what happens to families
when a member of the family goes to a nursing home with the average cost of
such a facility $7K per month. Nawrocki firm elder law attorney Lisa Beatty
will lead the discussion on Thursday, July 17th.  



 



According to statistics,
40 percent of all seniors will go to nursing homes.



 



Nawrocki is a highly
regarded elder law attorney in Livingston County and surrounding communities
and is active in a variety of community activities include Meals on Wheels,
Michigan Women's Roll of Honor for Livingston County and she was the first
woman President of the Presbytery of Detroit.



 



Beatty is a graduate of the University of Michigan
and Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University. She has served as a
adjunct professor at Thomas Colley Law School, Lansing. She is active in a
variety of civic affairs including the Redford Civic Symphony Orchestra,
Birmingham Bloomfield Symphony and she is a member of the Hartland, MI Area
Community Council.
