Brighton Woman Raising Money to Attend Brother's Funeral

Michelle Millikan of Brighton is hoping to be able to buy a plane ticket to attend her brother's funeral in Boston.

An online campaign to help Michelle Millikan of Brighton buy a plane ticket so she is able to attend her brother's funeral in Boston has already raised $750.

Millikan created the fundraiser on GoFundMe.com on Dec. 9 and the campaign hopes to raise $1,000. The page reads:

"I just lost my brother TJ this past weekend to pancreatic cancer, he was only 42.
I am so afraid I won't get to the funeral in Boston this Thursday because I was recently laid off from my job and I have a very large family and do not have the extra money to get a flight.

With the holiday's and bills and losing my job recently I am a wreck.
If anyone can help out with any amount to get me closer to a plane ticket I would appreciate it more than you could possibly know.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!"
