Candye
Hinton from 100 Women will be presenting a check for $9000 to Angela
Parth, executive director of Livingston Family Center on August 23,
2012 at 5:30pm at The Connection Youth center located at 616 W Grand
River, Howell.  The community is invited!

 

 

These
funds are earmarked for use by The Connection Youth Services.  This
group provides safe, secure housing to youth who do not have stable,
safe housing due to neglect, abuse and abondonment.  Without such
services, many of the kids would be sleeping on the street. 

 

 

100
Women Who Care Livingston County is a new resource in which charities
that meet certain criteria can be eligible to be awarded up to
$10,000.  100 Women's goal is to have 100 women meet for one hour
four times a year and raise $10,000 for one local non-profit
organization in Livingston County.  100 Women are looking for new
