Four Way Stops

I try to consolidate my errands so that I can avoid driving each and every day. I also have to be a temporary guest each time I drive at a four way stop corner. I have discovered that not all drivers know how to use a four way stop. Perhaps that is because there are so many driving schools and no longer one methodology for driving instruction. Yet four way stops are very dangerous if not used correctly. I find that all drivers need to come to a complete stop. The car and driver that arrived there first have the right of way and then the next to travel is the car to the right of the car that passed safely through the stop. Way too many drivers come to a brief stop or rull and just go through the intersection. Hence lots of bad accidents. Sadly, at the corner of Chilson Road and Brighton Road, many drivers just pass right through without even stopping and this is a high and fast traveling traffic area. So the next time you come to a four way stop, stop, look carefully and take turns. It will make the road and intersection safer for everyone.
