18-Year-Old Woman Stops Attempted Kidnapping at Great Lakes Crossing

An 18-year-old Clinton Township woman thought fast when she saw a 47-year-old Lake Orion woman being held at gunpoint in the parking lot of Great Lakes Crossing mall. She yelled at the men that she was on the phone with police, which distracted them enough to allow the victim to get away. The two men were arrested and face multiple charges.


Motorcyclist Collides with Ice Cream Truck Driver Near Dix Avenue: A 47-year-old ice cream truck driver from River Rouge got out of his truck to pass out ice cream when he was struck by the motorcycle driver. Both men were taken to Oakwood Hospital and are being treated for serious injuries.
