Learn Internet, Computer and eReader Skills at the Brighton Library

New classes and labs available starting in September at the Brighton District Library.

Do you want to learn more about your computer and how to use it? What about that Kindle, Nook or other eReader you’ve purchased or been gifted? Take the worry out of using these technologies by signing up for one of the many computer classes offered at the Brighton District Library. These classes are free and open to the public.

According to the United States Census Bureau, more than half of the homes in the United States have at least one computer. Having basic computer skills can make you more marketable when you are looking for a job, and more effective in the workplace. A computer can also make your relaxation time more pleasurable. Listen to music, talk with family and friends, or explore sites of interest to you.

Throughout the month of September, individuals can take classes about basic computing, introduction to the internet and how to use their eReader. For specific computer questions or problems, try our Open Computer Lab which meets every Wednesday from 3-5 p.m. Give it a try, you’ll improve your skills and learn new technology.
